Didn't go tonight, couple reasons. Let the area calm down, after I booted a buck out last night as I was walking out, plus it's in the 70's today . We shall see for tomorrow evening. Although I had deer and smaller bucks on cams in that area 2-6 am. Not any other time.

Yeah I’m trying to mostly plan out my food situation. Change it up a bit. Probably just go with Peanut butter sandwiche, granola bars, venison sticks, triscuits and a sweet treat or 2.

it's 1000% worth it. I did it a few years back. Rolls over bigger logs like nothing and much better in CRP.

All day is tough for me. I've done it but dont like it. Usually I hunt one stand morning, take a 2hr break then get back in for a mid day sit, then just get down and walk to a different stand for the afternoon. Water and an MRE is usually what I bring, oh and a pee bottle.

Good luck AM archers! Yesterday I got my kids deer all cut up and put away from Youth Weekend. Today its gonna be warm so I'm gonna put the tractor tire chains on and then the boys have a soccer playoff game. I'll probably get out some time Thursday Friday and then next Sunday Monday looks like a HUGE temperature drop and snow flurries.

Been set up in the tree for a little while, got in clean after a mile walk in, saw two sets of eyes on my same elevation off the main trail about 150-200 yards away. It’s dead calm here, but from what I could tell on my walk in and from my breath my scent is pulling the opposite way of what the weather men predicted… I was banking on that lol. Once daybreak hits it’s going to warm up quick and if the wind does what they said it will the thermals will pull my scent up and I’ll be good to go there as well! Good luck out there this morning

I have 2 of those. One or either side of my wood stove. I never thought about using it as a deer cart but it might be an option.

    Good luck AM shift!

Not going out today rain/thunderstorms today with high around 70. Supposed to rain for the next 4 or 5 days with highs around 70. Then it's going to severely cool off! Like highs of 43 with lows in the 20's. That's when I'll be in stand!
