Good luck to all who are out!
I was going to head out this morning but I've been dealing with a migraine since midnight.

Just had 2 bucks come in. Button buck and a large spike! Haha this is my season.

Spike got to 10 yards and buttons came to 25 yards.

Lmao! Holtcast rolls off the tongue better anyway.

I never said Tony would see the deer that moved at 830.

Went out this a.m., sat ground blind off garden plot. Deer have been active from scrape,Apples missing and prints under chestnut trees. Only movement...mice. Stiff WNW winds and 35 . Back home having a late breakfast with hubby.
I took pics but my phones internet stopped work a few days ago.
???? Messaging works, phone works. Just won't internet connect even at home.
BTW that's apples from trees next to chestnuts

Back at the truck. Didn’t see a thing. Time for a hot breakfast, gym, chase the wife around, and get back in the stand for the afternoon. No clue where I will sit this afternoon.

Just took my last (somewhat) sloppy walk to check things out before I start hunting next week.
A photo dump of my walk.
Foodplots are about wiped out other then the pumpkins which they just started hammering. Small bucks have found the sunflowers for rubbing (the intent).

Scrapes are really getting worked hard now.
Couple treestands that have produced many deer over the years.
A new 5x5 shooting shack I built this spring. Probably only for miserable weather sits.

And lastly, home away from home for the next 30 days.
Hard to put into words just how beautiful it is this morning.
    Let the fall games begin.
