My condolences to you and your family. Sounds like you could use tree therapy.

It really is too short. He was only 67. He was a welder/fabricator on the railroad his whole life which we’re sure caused his COPD. He then fought head and neck cancer followed by lung cancer. Kept a positive attitude the whole time and never pitied himself once. I admire him more than i ever thought possible. He was a warrior. No more suffering though.

Sorry for your loss man. I know we are all just guys you communicate with on the net but know that we are a brotherhood that supports you through this tough time. I know you cherish all the great memories and times you had with your dad. And I pray that the peace that passes all understanding will be with you and your family today.

My condolences Shocker, it is rough to lose your dad. Sounds like he was one heck of a good man and tougher than nails to go through all that and maintain a good attitude. Something we can all learn from, appreciate, and respect.
You will never stop missing him or thinking about him, but I hope being around his family and friends today and remembering all the good times with him helps to ease some of your grief.

Shocker I hope you have a good day man. Hopefully you’ll remember lots of the best memories from years of growing up with your dad. It’s got to be hard for awhile. Best of wishes for you ! A treestand is a good place to heal your heart.
