Good luck Adam and all the other am goers.

I have rain and it's suppose to rain most of the day. If it lets up I'll be out.

The neighbor is going to give me a hand with a ladder stand I have that needs some attention.

I will be following along today.
    Shoot straight.

No, they’re all accounted for. They’re just very disorganized.

All set up in Maryland, setting up in new trees in the dark is a pain, got parked two hours before light and I’m set up ready to go about 15 minutes before light. Got in clean until right at the end, bumped one about 20 yards from my tree, never blew just bounded off a little, had just climbed onto my platform and adjusted my tether when I heard one coming, milled around for about 10 minutes then worked off. Good luck out there this morning guys!!!

Heck yeah! That didn't take long. I was going to comment how it sounded like you have a bunch of deer around. I hope you stay on stand for a while and try to make it a true daily double.

    Enjoy your hunters.

It’s only been light for 30 minutes but I haven’t seen or heard anything.

We’re hunting in a valley between two steep ridges and with my brother being handicapped he has to ride his four wheeler to his stand. It’s a great spot with good sign but I’m sure the quad is busting everything out of here.

I can’t complain. He invited me because he won’t hunt alone and it’s his hunt. When we hit the valley we go west. This afternoon I’m going to move quite a way east and give myself a chance.

Not out today , had plans to before afternoon rains but opened door to crazy winds. Good decision because I sit here watching them go this way and that.
I had a repair to do on open blind near chestnuts yesterday and was going to hunt there for first time. So much sign under them I don't want switching winds to booger me.
    Good luck and stay safe

Oopppsss so much for that statement. Raining now, just rechecked ...will rain non stop next 3 days. Trying to remember ...can't recall a bow season with so many consistent days of rain.

Good luck morning crew! I am taking my boys to the gun range tomorrow morning for some practice for the youth weekend in a couple of weeks. If my wife is feeling generous when I get home, I may see if I go get a quick set in for a couple of hours in a spot near the range and have her bring the boys to me. Shooting has become a family affair since my oldest and wife both have shotguns now. I think my wife wants to get into hunting in a few years once our kids are old enough we can leave them at home or all of us can go out.

20231020_075316.jpg This little guy just got his ass handed to him by a doe.
He's in the back yard eating Rye and a doe came in and put a stomping on him.
