Congrats to your buddy, and congrats to you on getting him into it. How often do people ask him if he's Chuck Norris's youngest brother?
Looks like I will be out tonight!! Leaving here in a second and should be in a tree within 45 minutes
I'm up. Finally found some decent buck sign and some kind of acorns dropping with feed sign. Hopes are high I get a little action this pm.
Good luck everyone, LC that looks killer. I wrapped up all my work and I’m getting into full time kill mode! I’ll be out tomorrow evening and Saturday morning. Then I’ll be in Ohio Sunday and Monday. Gonna rain Friday and sat in Ohio and Sunday it’s gonna be 38* and rain is gone! I’m ready to knock a buck down!
Not sure but I should probably check it if my signal will hold. Id rather not kill two bucks here because I want to buck hunt at Wattensaw later.
I'm up. Back in the area I lost that doe 2 weeks ago. The sign has picked up. Some very heavy deer trails crossing this swamp. A couple oaks hanging over swamp and still dropping. Heavy deer bedding to my right. Let's hope for a good night. Good luck all! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I’m set up. It is raining white oak acorns all around me. The wind is supposed to be NW but it’s blowing steady out of the SSW which isn’t bad.
The new addition to your signature line is fantastic. I wonder what @Heckler will do when he notices.
I’m up, same spot as last time, there were deer already out in my plot so I had to come back here. Still a good spot where I am but I really wanted to go there, oh well. Good luck everyone!
Been setup a little while now. Had 2 doe cross a trail about 80 yards out. Early movement is a good sign Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Had high hopes for this sit until I busted 3 out right where I wanted to set up, pushed in further than I did last time, lesson learned, I’m still up but not too confident
Dont let that discourage you! That just means you are where deer like to be. It will settle back down
Good luck pm shift! I'm 505/50 for an AM hunt. Rain coming in and its the wife's first day off in 2 weeks. I might be obligated to stay home and get up with the dogs so she can sleep.
Set up on the ground in a little divot looking out at this field on public ground. Appears the state planted oats maybe and some of it is coming up. Hoping those tender green shoots pull some in. Wind is perfect. Tracks everywhere
