I left my range finder in blind and had to go retrieve it at 10 pm I walked back out . Funny the things you discover when you hit the woods at night. I thought I was witnessing a fire at the hunt camp that sits next to the beanfield. They plant that guys land in beans as well. No its the farmers just gearing up to work that field I think. That or a well is getting dug or a wind turbine is getting installed. Either way glad I'm not the ppl directly across or next to them 10 pm what a racket they were making

Lost internet last night and this morning so that didn't post
Also went out this a.m.. I have pics of where but apparently my phone didn't have internet either. Saw zip.

Funny you posted that, told hubby I need to carry my 22 when going to do chickens. This morning one little one got trapped at the chain link so I went at it..dang if it didn't squeeze through to get in gardening away from me...took a few bounces but....lol
    A. J. Cleaned out the wood chucks and the rabbits exploded....

Youth gun season and our early anlerless gun season starts today. Probably not an excuse not to hunt, but I'm not sure I'll get out. I do need to change batteries in one more Tactacam, might just do that this evening with my bow in hand.

If this forecast holds for late next week....

They do. I only have one of them right now. I usually wait to see if they come up on sale for a 2 pack. Just haven't looked in quite a while.

Been having a tough time getting energized this season. I've been going on autopilot. Hard to explain

Anyways a buddy of mine I got into hunting 7 years ago just sent me a pic of a buck he killed today. First good public land buck..he is ecstatic and got aggressive in October. Gave me a burst of energy for today's hunt.

Nice buck! What was he doing to be aggressive? It’s getting to be that time.

Got downwind of a bedding area. Buck comes in making a scrape and thrashing a tree.
