    Up and getting ready. All rain will stop by 0600. Deer are gonna like getting out of their beds with the sun shining on them. May be a long sit this AM. Also deer calendar says 0800-0900 is minor movement and 1330 to 1530 is major movement . Supposed to be the best day for movement of the month. Maybe sit till 0930 and then back in by 1230. Good luck Sunday archers.

    Started to crack a little yesterday. Dreaming of easy hunts with bucks seen every hunt. LOL. yeah that ain't gonna happen by luck. Gotta keep grinding. Up and leaving soon.

    I’m awake and having some coffee. One great thing about hunting here is Josh has an excellent pool table in his basement. After the evening hunt I get to shoot pool and drink a few beers, a combination of activities I enjoy almost as much as hunting or fishing.

    It’s been raining but the rain should be stopping any minute. It could be a good day.

    Does were off limits the last two days, but if I see one today I’ll shoot. I need to put some deer in the freezer.

    I did that once while hunting in ohio. I sat in the stand and thought man my feet are getting cold. I looked down and I was wearing tennis shoes. I thought that was just an old man thing!

    Pretty certain the buck I was looking for was just under me. Still too dark to see anything but he came in stayed for 5 minutes and pretty certain he headed out. Will pull the card on the camera to confirm later.

    I’ve been setting on stand for an hour. Only 20 minutes of daylight but no movement yet. I did jump one on the way in. Time to put a buck down. Good luck out there this morning.
