I am allergic to this particular type of sapling, but otherwise I agree!

I did as well. New hiking hunt boots arrived today. I took A. J. Out for a water proof trial walk. Went down to open lower plot to check trees. Apples still loaded, chestnuts falling. The deer are hitting them hard so that may be a morning hunt out of enclosed blind in the morning. Suppose to be another wet one.
Now I'm going to ask nicely for a response to a question
The biggest chestnut has droppings all around it. It also has 3 near evenly spaced scrapes under its hang branches.
I personally have never seen this before anywhere.
Can any of you tell me what is possibly going on with that.
One overzealous buck? 3 three young buck?
BTW all three pretty big in size
Boots are great dry ,comfy feet and warm for not being insulated.

I’m back up in a tree. I moved 30 yards north so we will see what happens.

I think its one smaller buck getting ready for his first or second-ever rut, and really getting into it with the scrapes because he's not sure really how to do it yet.
