Well at least I know he isn't worried about the blind he walk 3 yrds past it. Hopefully he's leaving scent for the other bucks in area.
That was fairly later in morning as in around 9.

My son and I are headed out tonight. Been licking my wounds since I lost my lease last week. We are going to public land that is just right down the road from where we live. It's going to be more of an observation sit to see if I can figure out where the deer are coming in and out of this area. I don't think it's been pressured that much as we don't have a ton of bow hunters in the area. At least I don't see a lot of vehicles parked by the entrances when I go about my days.

Yeah, necks pretty thick for 2+weeks before rut kicks off. That left side bladed G3 is a dominant trait in this area, been seeing it on big boys for about 5 years.

Thinking this one is close to 150 as a 4x6.
He's going to get an arrow or 5 if I have anything to say about it.

Just because Cantexian keeps telling me to get these when I quarter up deer. Will be added to pack.

I'm going to be live from the truck on my way to Colorado elk hunting in about 2 hours! First trip to hunt elk. This one is with a rifle. We're going to be in zones 28(mainly) and 37. Anyone with any experience that could give some pointers or direction would be appreciated. I've done my e-scouting, but I've not been to the area to put boots on the ground before... apart from snowboard boots years ago. Either way, my wife and I are excited to get away for a week!

Set up on this buck … I hope he is here. I am watching the front door and my buddy is watching the back door. Double trouble for him if he wanders to far in day light.

Finally up , about halfway between where I was and buck was this morning. Steady SE breeze in my face from neighbors sanctuary. who's grand kids are on edge of screaming bloody murder. So disturbed and wind to backs...I may see something.
    Good luck guys

Headed to the stand looking for a doe. No sign of any bucks on this property even though I know there is a spike around.

    Good luck everyone!
