The cost of building a moat is probably cheaper in Iowa...but the alligators and piranhas have to be replenished annually and included in the budget.
I’m pretty sure if you own 100 acres and up you are able to get resident tags in IA. It’s the “LOT” land owner and tenant tags.
Welcome to...the main event! Looking forward to tonight's sit. I have never shot a deer from this stand. I have had several chances. This tiny piece of property is good hunting. I'm hunting a not so great stand because of the wind direction. Mikey and Hardup....good luck. Anyone else out?
Not true. My uncle had close to 500 acres in Iowa, he never hunted it once because he lived I. Maryland and wasn't able to get tags. Had to do the draw like everyone else. Only if you are resident can you get tags each year. Such a weird rule. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
You could be right also. I never looked into it. Don't plan to buy land there. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Rained all day and finally stopped at 6pm. I look out the window to watch a single nice sized buck trotting right to a stand. Lol
I realize this isn't the thread for this type of post but it's the thread that has the most action and this is a flash sale, this is an absolutely killer deal on a great pack. Especially for you Saddle BoIz. I've had mine since 2013 and absolutely beat the living hell out of it every season and as of right now it's only got a very small hole from where my climbing sticks rub on it. Don't miss out on this deal. $65. Camofire Daily Deal - ALPS PATHFINDER PACK - https://www.camofire.com/Product/alps-pathfinder-pack
Drew on a doe, but couldn't get a shot. There was a tree almost horizontal that covered her vitals. 2 fawns and another deer with her. Fun night.
I pulled trail cam cards this evening and found out a new guy has moved into the neighborhood. He showed up in a couple of different spots but only at night so far. First time I've seen him.
I ended up getting skunked tonight, had really high hopes but the wind kept shifting on me. I’ll be out on some public land in MD in the morning!
