Hard to tell if it's bubbly or just coagulating. Looks a bit like muscle hit and it stood there for a few. Hope I am wrong and good luck on recovery
About to start tracking further. Hard to find the hit sight in the bean field, I found blood but no arrow. Hoping it's in her still or on her blood trail because I don't want a broadhead in a tractor tire.
No luck here, same momma and fawn and whatever I kicked out of the beans as I walked out. I may have given too much credit to the beans as it sounded like they stayed in the woods munching on acorns.
Didn’t see anything but as we were climbing down the ladder something busted us. Go figure. I thought I heard something jump into our area but it never showed in time.
Well saw 2 doe bedded about 30 yards from where I was trying to setup. They moved off and I setup. Did not see anything else for the evening. I also got a sweet flat tire on my bike so had to walk about pushing it. O well. Still great to be able to be in the outdoors! Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Nothing else for me. What a great day hunting! Ended the day with 13 deer in bow range and 1 didn't leave. On to the next hunt! Doe is home and hanging. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
1 deer from stand for me. The weather got my juices following though. Back at home drinking beer. No where to hunt tomorrow so sleep and football. Work Monday- Tuesday and we will do it live from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm headed home for the night. I'll pick up on the trail tommorow, I think I bumped her out of her last bed. She made almost a complete loop around the woods and back to where I started. Hope to find her in the morning. I'd feel alot better if I found my arrow. I'm leaning towards muscle shot. Blood stayed pretty bright the entire track. I think I put it in her shoulder.
Just came in from Taking dogs potty. I'm old enough to know when to be afraid of my woods. The winds are telling me be afraid. Well the snap crash that made all three of us jump didn't help either. Really cold though they will be moving today. May do a mid day hunt. Good luck guys
