    After the guy walked through and ruined my spot I was in I moved to a spot I’ve only hunted once before very late in the season last year. It has real potential. Cedar thicket to my right, open woods on my left and bedding area behind the cedar thicket.

    We all setup for the youth hunt we are watching a soybean field that no hunting is allowed on except for this day the guy that dropped us off said there are some big ones in here but she can shoot whatever if anything shows up I told her it’s up to her

    Going to try to blow out 2 stands today. Started coughing again in the other spot so I hustled to my other was a deer at my stand when I got to it more than likely a doe. She blew and went back in the brush but I expect to see her near dark. 4 other doe are in a field about 300 yds to my right. IMG_20231007_174232.jpg

    been in the saddle for about two hours now. wind in my face but not entirely thrilled about this spot. but there are deer around!

    Just had 4 more does come in to about 12 yards. The big one got squirrelly right away and knew something wasn't right. Took the rest with her.

    Pouring rain on and off all day and soccer games so nothing for me today. Will be in stand extra early tomorrow. Try and catch a first light Buck. Rain should be stopping right around shooting time.
