3.5 mile round trip to check one of my cams. Find my cam on the ground. It had been out for 10 weeks and the mineral site looked real active. Looks like a raccoon took the cam down after only a month. I refreshed and put out a new cam....0 big buck pics but tons of mature does from May 1 to June 1.
Nice looking buck JG. 3 _4 more weeks for tine length growth. AF, I love those sets in tree clumps. VS, been there, done that.... sucks.
Not from stand but onthe way to grand kids...I had a spike ran across infront of me and stopped to talk to a nice big doe with2 big fawn10 yrds away onthe side of road...3 pm . A lot of road activity for that time of day..
Just fine tuned my bow and shot out to 60 with broadheads. No excuse on equipment this year I’m dialed in! Pic is broadhead and FP @ 20yds. Going to scout some new spots now.

Hey, hey, hey my tags arrived today. I pick up my doe tags Aug 1 Also nieghbor with sanctuary, sanctuary no more. They have company and grandkids this summer. It has been nonstop trail riding ALL Day Long accompanied by screaming and loud talking. I on the other had has stayed off the place no building ,no planting, too busy to cut wood. This means no disturbance with a ton of food on us. Let's see if natural browse and heavy hard mast in chestnuts and soft in berries and fruits do for my hunting.
