    The rain stopped and I was sitting on my truck waiting for it to do so. I had a group of 7 or 8 does run across in front of my bike on the way in.

    I got all set up in a new tree, started ranging trees and saw this. I really need to be more observant when I’m in a hurry.

    All set up at my gunclub, hung a camera here yesterday mid day, had does in here last night and this morning the scouting trip was good but just wasn’t confident, got about an hour and a half of light if it happens here it will be a last light good luck everyone

    It's windy in Central MN. I'm live from the ground today. I'm tucked into a group of ash trees with decent back cover. Historically, I've not had much luck when it's this windy, but I'm in a pretty well-used inside corner area. I've got the wind in my face, the edge of a corn field in front of me and a little creek behind me. Like most, if it's going to happen, it's going to be at very last light. Another two hours to go. I've got faith. [​IMG]

    Heat is finally done here in Indiana. Rain passed through this evening. My first official hunt of the 2023 season in the morning - fired up!! Going to be on public land and going in deep because why the hell not?!
