On Friday if the conditions are right I'll be getting up at 430am and hunting. Take a 1 hr nap in my truck then work noon to 9pm.

    It’s only a 3 1/2 hour drive. Easy.

I'll be headed out in the morning around 5am. It's around an hour drive for me so should be in the stand around 6:15am or so. We just had a massive storm come through and one more here in a couple of hours. Still a high of 80 tomorrow but from now through Saturday the temps will just be dropping. I expect to see lots of deer killed on this thread through the weekend.

It's just hard right now. My deer have gone nocturnal and the bigger bucks are not showing up on my lower food plot cameras. We dont have much for nuts around here. So my deer are all in the big woods on top of the hill. Somewhere in 10,000 acres behind me.

If ya go to new ground it could pay off big time, just finding sign or feed.

I got into my blind but it was a little bit of a disaster. We used to have around 30 head of cattle but are down to only 2. One thing I didn’t take note of was the field I usually walk through to get to my blind is now above my head. That has turned into a new bedding area for the deer and I kicked them all up. This morning could be tough but I’ll adjust for this afternoon.

You never know, alot of times deer will come right back to their bedding after being kicked out. Good luck!

Baby sitting grand pup so took them both on lead walk. I passed a cam, doe during the morning day light and a scrape hit. Will touch up clean deer freezer one more time and check temp.

Heading out to a new piece of public about 40 minutes from me, might stop in at the ranger station and see if they have any info for me

Well today went from not great, due to a bad entrance to my blind, to absolutely terrible. I was supposed to hunt this evening but now am waiting to see if I still have access to the property. I'll lay it all out when I receive the final phone call but my Live In The Stand is on hold for a bit.

I made it to our cabin in Arkansas. It’s raining lightly right now but it’s supposed to stop about 3:15. I wish I had remembered rain gear because I’d love it be set up when the rain stops.

For the time being I’m studying OnX trying to pick a spot that will work with a SE wind shifting to a NE wind around dark.

I should be up in a tree at or before 4:00.

Good luck to everyone in the woods today.
I'm stuck in the house still waiting on the appliance repair guy that was supposed to be here at 8 am this morning.

The deer have probably had a conga line going back and forth in front of my stands today.
