Canidice or Hemlock? I miss the finger lakes region.

This looks absolutely relaxing. I'll be doing a little bass fishing on Friday morning.

Candice today. I was all alone untill 9:30....heaven, found some great fishing spots , literally jumping out of the water, watched some ducks, didn't see the eagles today heard the geese in the heavy marsh area. Weeds were too bad to paddle close enough for a good look. Was hoping to see deer at the edges but the joggers were out.

Corns getting chopped big time now and most winter grains are in. Lots of trucks and farm equipment on the roads

I'm up for the evening. Sitting a inside corner of a field, about 50 yards from edge. A couple deer trails and red oaks dropping a little. Most of it is cleaned up. Planned to hunt a buck bed on this property, but when I got there the sign wasn't there. So change of plans and on a doe mission now.

I’m back up for the evening sit to see if those deer move again this afternoon.

This will be my last sit here at home for a while. I’ll be heading back to Arkansas Thursday morning for 5 or 6 days and then a trip to middle Missouri to chase big bucks during the new moon weekend may happen.

Wow! It’s a pm sit, it’s cloudy, there’s a steady breeze out of a good direction and I’m not sweating (much).

Not sure what to make of this after the first 2 1/2 weeks of heat.

Last 30 minutes and no deer yet. Starting to get pretty dark I'm the woods.

    Come on deer!

Overcast here and so far not much is moving.

I need to leave my dang phone at home next time, I got an email that some of the 2023 bows are on closeout so my sit so far has cost me 400 bucks.

Not sure I would define a blue jay as a chirper

Annoying effers when a group of them start tattle telling close by.

It should not be 83 degrees in October. Just moved every single one of my cameras and got 95% of mock scrapes set up. Last night I had the most buck activity I think ever on pretty much every camera. Mega temp drop incoming.

No 100% shooters yet. Some that are very, very close.

This is the only acceptable way to look around when hunting.

That’s too much movement. No turning of the head. The deer. They will see you.
