We were training on the bombing range the A-10s use out there a year ago. I went running through a couple of the buildings in the impact area and jumped 3 bucks in September that each probably scored 160+… conservatively. They were all freaks. I begged the control officer to let us hunt and he said no. You should check the border of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Quantico is the same way. Absolute hammer bucks run those impact zones. Live to see their full potential.
Go to google maps and look up cookville mo. Sw of it you will see a vertical strip of open area in the mark Twain national forest. That’s the bombing range. I’m sure onx can get you the boundaries. I have done gun run strafes with the A-10s and watched 30+ deer bound away. We drive from the gate to the range and will stop counting deer after we hit 100. That is usually the first or second day of a 1-2 week trip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
500 MO hunters seeking public ground hunting around such town/city just got a google hit. 325 marked a way point for scouting, 175 just gonna go in blind
Here is another great hunting spot in Missouri. Huge bucks. Missouri. Big bucks. MO. 19.80815, -155.45876
27 wander on the range and catch 30mm fired from an A-10 at a rate of 70 rds a second… It’s a hike through rougher terrain. Not a secret to those around there either. Ain’t my spot and it’s public so send it haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here is my number one target buck coming along nicely. Been shooting my new carbon one for about month and just can’t seem to get comfortable with it or confident shooting with it. I know its only been a month but probably most struggle getting a true sight tape with this bow. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
If I could only put into words how much stress we are feeling right now... Tree stand therapy, where art thou?
