Almost time for some of us to be doing this! Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
So much rain this year. I'm thinking of buying this and attaching all my gear to it including my platform/climber. I have good back pack straps on my platform/climber, but once I attach my cold weather gear to it for the walk in, it becomes extremely uncomfortable due to its smaller size. Tough to justify the $300 price tag, but it is EXACTLY what I need. Thinking of going with the good old ask for forgiveness rather than approval from the wife! lol https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079YJVYCZ/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A15Q5UJU2QF0KP&psc=1
If you go to their website to oder, I'll give you a discount code, but I think they do a veterans deal anyway. I try to stay off the Ole amazon for high end stuff, unless they have a direct partnership with the company. Dm me if you want the code. I think it's 20 percent.
Oh sweet! Thanks brother, I appreciate it! I'll check out their website and see what the Veteran discount is and let you know!
No worries. I just checked and it's 15 percent, not 20. If you have an account with Black Rifle Coffee club, you can get the same discount along with some other companies out there.
Damn, if my math is correct, veteran discount is only 10%... ThAnK yOu FoR yOuR sErViCe LOL! Listed at $299 on their website, after the discount, $269.10
Treestand maintenance day today. Checking all (about) 10 stands on my little piece of Heaven. Checking straps, trimming shooting lanes, and just enjoying a beautiful cool day.
One last trip to the bow shop before i move to shoot some distance. I need to verify my tape at longer distance. Was going to shoot their outdoor range, but I already boxed up my range finder and it's 200 miles away. Smh. I'll see what I can do.
Cabelas. Search for clearance or on sale items..then use your 10% military discount. For example, you can get some $100 gear for $60 or so.
Got my sight completely dialed and I was shooting lights out. Hard to describe how good that feels. Gonna miss that shop.
Spent some time this afternoon finishing building a few arrows and started working on sight adjustments. I was able to get marks set at 20 and 30. I will have to shoot farther before I can settle on a new sight tape. Picture is the group at 30.
What an incredible Mid July day. Only 67*, a nice breeze. Set up a new ladder stand that I about blew my nutts out getting it set up (heavy). Lanes trimmed, food plots sprayed, 3 mocks scrapes set up, a bit of firewood stacked, then went to a local bar n had 3 beers. Sittn on my deck now (more beers), radio jamming to classic rock, .22 loaded waiting fora squirrel to show his face. Nobody within 3/4 of a mile. Peacefull. Thank you Lord for a top_notch day,
I got out today and did some scouting/looking in a section of Mark Twain National Forest I’ve never been to even though it’s only 10 minutes from my house. I marked some really good spots and saw seven deer. One was a really good looking buck that I actually jumped out of a pond. I found a few good water sources and one had a lot of hog sign which excites me because I’ve never killed one and I would love to get the chance.
