So daughter called at midnight to say she'd be here soon. I said be careful it's a full moon and deer are moving. She said OMG Mom they are everywhere!
    She got here safely

Gonna give it another half hour or so and I’m out. Be back in around 2 for evening sit. Every deer I saw this morning was feeding in acorns. Nothing coming off of crop fields. I think I’m gonna focus on oaks for the evening sit.

    Tomorrow morning guys
So hot weather means a miserable processing if I get one. Well figured it out hanging the blueberry bug netting from the hanging pole to encompass the deer and me as I skin and cut up. This time of year flies are bad...yellow jackets are far worse.
Makes me deciding to shoot a deer easier.
    Good luck out there.

Good luck to those still out!! I got to sleep in till like 9. I haven't done that in years. Rain has stopped 10 hours before they said it would and is supposed to be clearing up.....which is not what they said would happen. An afternoon hunt would be good, but I have prior obligations for dinner with the wife.....I can't win this year! lol

Going to head out shortly and get an early afternoon sit in. Wont be able to sit until dark so hoping for some early movement with the current moon phase.

Good luck if you are out this weekend. Our highs here are 95 today and tomorrow, focusing on family stuff so I can hunt next weekend’s cold front. Looking like a 25* degree temp drop between this weekend and next.

Good luck all. Going to be over 90 with no cloud cover. I'm going to scout about a 40 to 50 acre peninsula hoping two of the bucks I'm hunting relocate to it once the pressure starts ramping soon.

Back out !! Enjoying a nice afternoon waiting for something to show. I’m set up at the edge of a steep rocky hillside that they bed in. I’m right on edge by some big old oaks that are littering the ground.

I’m up in a stand that I took one my biggest bucks from 2 years ago, High & Tight. There’s one in here that looks like his brother. At least a 150”. Hopefully he shows up this evening. 77 degrees and sunny sucks, but it’s better than 90.
