    Only had a shot on 3 deer, one basket 8 and 2 doe. The doe were cagey for whatever reason and we’re at 35 yds, didn’t feel good about it and let em go on their way. saw a bunch more from a distance and saw how they access the fields. Was a fun sit, statewide opens tom and I’ll be at the farm for an evening sit.

    At least you saw deer. :lol:

    I didn’t see any deer but I’m not surprised. All of my gear including my bow is in the tree for tomorrow morning.

    Very true, I was complaining to myself bc it was 76 and the sun was on me haha. Then I see the heat others are dealing with. You’ll get one tom am!

    I’ll hunt tomorrow morning but it’s not very smart of me. My wife is leaving in the morning to visit our daughter and if I do kill one I’ll be alone.

    Then again, I do have Elly May. I love that Beagle.

    I'm gonna wait 3 weeks.
    Hate to tag out early and miss the chaos that late October/ November brings.

    I realize that most don't have the time/ ground to do that on though.
    I feel blessed in that aspect.
    Just got a text a bit ago about coyotes howling. Kinda sure I'll be laying prone with a rifle come sunrise :biggun:

    You guys will never believe this… Image1696045219.697092.jpg arrow slid through my fingers and caught o. My bag pulled back in the arrows sent the broadhead right through the finger
