Man, the things we think of and do to further our passion for deer hunting amazes me. That's a good one. I do the same sort of thing when I'm on stand at home and it gets dark and I have deer all over me. I text my wife and say, can you come out the back door and start coughing or yelling for the dogs. Deer scatter everywhere.
The shot was forward but it looked like a lethal shot. I’m still going to sit until 8:00 before I get down and harness up Elly May the Wonder Beagle.
