    So icing on cake just as I'm starting to pack up. 10 mins to go I LOOK UP and the 2 big doe with fawn have come in. Not where I thought they would but right up the lane way,,,SSW of me and right in range of the hub blind I was in the other day.. I get ready for a shot when a gust comes in making a racket in the woods spooking her. She stood watching the woods past the blind and sniffing the air. Then turned and fed in the opposite direction. The other two followed her. Dead deer had I been in blind, dead deer if she came 10 yards closer. Oh well. Got out clean. I have 2 weeks to wait to hunt again.

    Had another 2 yr old 8 pt come by at 30 yds right before dark on the other side of me. Possibly the same buck. Had a good chat with a young kid who stopped to talk. Gave me a lot of good intel. Only neg today was walkng out seeing some guy "marking his territory " with orange tape all over the woods. He also put up a ladder stand and cut down maybe 20 small trees for shooting lanes. All he had to do was walk about 30 more yards and he wouldn't have had to needlessly kill a bunch of trees. I guess this is his way of communicating to everyone. Well this is public land.

    I’m up and about to head out on what will probably be my last sit this trip.

    I don’t know what happened to the bucks here but they’ve suddenly moved and while I’m seeing them there is no discernible pattern to their movements right now.
