Couple squirrels, no deer so far. Shadows are really starting to take over the field now with about 1 hour and 15 minutes left of light

False alarm. Diff 2 yr old 8 pt. Heard him cough a bunch of times before I saw him. Never heard that before. Big body deer here in MO have my brain lost. Lol. Some kind of swamp oak is dropping acorns and he is crushing them like 35 yds away.

Thanks everyone! That was an awesome sit!! The work we did to get permission on this property 3 years running and the foodplots we’ve been putting in worked! It was just about 6 and I was looking off to my right, sitting directly above the foodplot but the foodplot is to my left, caught movement in the plot and there he is, stops quartering away from me but I couldn’t get my bow of the hero clip I had it hanging from, by the time I did he was turned towards me, he took a few steps close and was at about 12 yards tops, he turned and got just about broadside but slightly quartering too, I hugged the shoulder and bam, arrow hurried up to the Nock big mule kick and he took off on a death run and heard him pile up in about 40 yards!!! What a night!! IMG_5539.JPG IMG_5535.JPG IMG_5533.JPG IMG_5532.JPG
