    He either went to the lake to get a drink and bedded back down or he traveled the lake shore, in which case I won’t see him again this sit. Maybe tomorrow morning.

    Pretty sure he walked this trail going to bed this morning.

    Played the wind perfectly. Came in from the west at about 20yds. Browsed in front of me at what I thought was 30yds. Let one go and spined him. Finished him off from the ground. Measured after the fact, 24yds. Got him quartered up and in the cooler. First buck off the property we bought last year so pretty jacked up about it.

    Congrats guys..never got home until 6 so no hunting. Though after memorial we got an invite to cousins farm in Howard. 600 head of automated milking. What a great tour they gave us. Fascinating, interesting system all monitored through computers. The cows have ear tags that is scanned for all kinds of info and their temperature to help monitor daily health. That some cows have teets that are too small and are sold off to non auto farms.
    Well out for last day tomorrow,see ya then...

    That was all the action for me tonight! Great sit, dad ended up seeing a spike and a big doe with 2 fawns, I’ll be back at it tomorrow night!

    The big boy never came my way, but that’s okay. Now I know his evening trail as well as his morning trail.

    I’ll be on the morning trail in the morning. Mid-day tomorrow I’ll move my other climber and put it in a good spot for what I saw today.
