    Sitting on the deck having a smoke and diet dew.
    And she steps out.
    Got my bow hanging 2 feet away. But aLas, she gets a pass

    Mid-day opening day they baled hay next to where the deer bed on the west side of the property. I didn’t think that would matter but the movement stopped and all buck pics stopped coming in.

    I moved to a new spot yesterday and I think I’ve found them.

    After I got down this morning I came back, changed and then Josh and I went and moved my climber.

    The deer came by me too early this morning and a bit too far away.

    We identified the trail they were using and I moved 80 yards farther east to the next small finger off the ridge.

    This afternoon and tomorrow morning I’ll be sitting between two trails and 20 yards off the logging road they cross.

    Something happened all of a sudden that made these bucks change patterns. Up until the day I got here Josh had daily pics of big bucks. Then nothing.
