    Good luck on the recovery Nick!!! I never get many pictures in the mornings from my spot in MD, and the big guys have only ever shown up in the evenings so I sat out this morning, and am working on finishing my basement… and then my phone starts blowing up… what an idiot IMG_5523.JPG

    Well getting ready to start tracking. I have 3 deer that just won't stop coming in. Problem is the lead doe is blowing like crazy. Pretty certain she's blowing at the neighbors dog that won't shut up.

    It's a crap shoot. I havent seen anything these two mornings. Looks like my deer are getting back to bed before daylight. Tomorrow I'm sleeping in and heading in for 1130-1200 to sit the rest of the day. One of the Bucks I'm looking for seems to like getting a drink at 1330-1345hrs pretty regularly. Its gonna be 86 here tomorrow, so might be a good day to try mid day at the brook.

    I’ve seen six deer this morning. Three does, two unknowns and a big buck.

    The big one cruised by at 35 yards but even though it was legal shooting light the canopy and overcast sky made it too dark to see him without binoculars.

    I can’t say for sure which one he was, but he was big.

    So close.
