Got in some scouting for the first time in a few weeks. I've scouted this place several times and never located anything really great looking. However, the potential exists for a giant. May have picked up a stand location or two after walking a few miles today. Sure is a beautiful place.

I’m down. Didn’t see anything but a coyote and a couple of squirrels.

Thats officially it for my season. It’s been a blast.

Could be. I’m pretty sure this is the latest I’ve ever shot one.

I am up. Back in the same creek bottom I shaved a doe in a couple of weeks ago. Moved about 40 yards east to the other side of the creek. Avout 50 yards off of the bedding thicket she came out of, hopefully catching one coming back to bed. Food plot 75 yards behind me. Nothing in it at shooting light.

What kind of deer movement do you see there this time of year?

Just watched a squirrel miss his jump and fall in the creek. It
Is 30*. Bet that was cold.

If you can find the food, it is alot like early season with relable movement on bed to food patterns. Just colder.

Somebody is running dogs and yelling about 150 yards from me. :rant:Dog training is allowed here, but no running deer.
