What happens on the back 40 stays on the back 40 is what the in laws have always told me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Unfortunately it is a close at sunset. What I thought was the Doe and fawn, were too small bucks….. I couldn’t tell what they were until they were literally underneath me. And then I heard crunch crunch crunch and the big boy who I was pretty much after and was playing cat and mouse with at the end of last year was right under my stand. This happened 15 minutes after legal shooting light ended. I could have stayed there for hours waiting for them to leave. Instead they got to hear thunder kiss 65 by White Zombie and took off and every which way. That was by far the most deer I’ve ever seen in a single hunt and all my years hunting here. Pretty intense, from start to finish. They definitely had no idea it was hunting season.
So encouraging to see you on deer so early man!! It had to have been the calling sequence I recommended, right?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It a took couple of weeks to find the time, but I finally got my elk hung. In the stairwell with my 3 White Tail mounts.
We now have sunset + 30 mins. Been talking with some turkey. In the gully. Nothing else but noisy crow.We Just realized no cowbirds nor starlings around...no complaints on that! Thought I sent that Right at close the neighbours sanctuary erupted in wild screams then their Gator with the screamer came down their property line road. Well I packed up and coming down the ladder a bunch of deer flew by me going mach 10. Well this season's starting out fun...lol
