IT IS A LOT OF FUN, and it gets me shooting all year long. late spring and summer we have a 3 D circuit , its a blast also
Might try and get out tomorrow. Might have to take a half day. I need to do a observation sit over one very particular spot to see if a certain buck is still alive and back into one of his bedding area. It's a long shot, but got to start somewhere. I will start by siting a couple hundred yards out and hopefully catch him in there. If so then I can make a move on a different sit. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Good friend knows/hunts with some outfitters quite a bit and trades deer/bear hunts often. He was in IL last week and the outfitter offered him as many Muddy Outfitter stands that he wanted for $25 a piece (retail at $200). Asked if we wanted any and I obviously took the deal. Got 3 of them coming. Just need to get a seat pad if we want one and maybe straps after inspection. I will finally have some permanent set ups on the back 40. I know exactly where they are going.
I'm up for evening! I didn't make it to the spot I wanted to sit and observe. I ran into a lot of fresh scrapes, rubs, and big tracks walking in. I set up just past hoping to catch something moving thru here before dark. Let's go! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Also I may get a bump and dump out of this sit. As I walked around back edge of swamp. I busted a unknown deer out of cattails. It ran out and stopped. Then walked off like it didn't know what scared it. I bet it will make a return to its bed before dark. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
After taking a week or so off I’m finally back in a tree. I’m on my place here in Missouri so I don’t have high expectations but it’ll do me good to spend some time in a tree.
Nothing to report for deer yet. A couple fox have been thru, must be breeding season. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I didn’t get out as early as I wanted to but I’ve been here for a little while. Let’s do this. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
