    I ended up seeing six different bucks tonight and not a single doe. The one buck was the nine point that I passed the first night of the season in September. That’s the first time I’ve seen him in the daylight since.

    It always seems to be a rat race when I get a deer. Got her gutted then came home quick and got the pallbearers to bring her out. They did a good job. Got her home packed with snow inside the body cavity and on her. A guy I work with his daughter is going to makes jerky out of the whole deer so I need to drop it off tomorrow.     I'm up! That was rough. To bed at 1 and up at 4:30. I'm deep in a swamp all by myself. Very few people out this morning.
