Moved to a new farm to check it out for the evening. It looks awesome. I’m sitting on a standing bean field surrounded by bedding.
What Tom was getting at is if deer aren't use to eating alfalfa, it can bloat them and kill them. There stomachs aren't use to it, can do more harm then good. The deer don't know better and eat it anyway. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

I very much disagree with that "biologist" statement. I've seen people many times feeding starving deer corn/beans/alfalfa late season during late winter when they haven't had any for 2_3 months. Can't say I ever found a dead deer because of it.
Jeff Foxworthy on buck behavior. Lol! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CmOveAojocz/?igshid=NDk5N2NlZjQ=
Snuck in this morning next to a cedar thicket trying to catch a doe going back to bed. I’ve got my bow with me this morning.
Bout ready to go after those bucks again in that bedding area. Completely opposite wind and I'm gonna walk a semi circle all the way around to the back end. Gonna be close to a 2 mile walk to set up on tha... I'm hoping they feel Comfortable walking that way due to No pressure. It was 65゚ here yesterday and now it is 40.
Back on my main farm sitting the beans for the afternoon. Saw 2 does a couple fawns and a couple baby bucks this morning. Needed the does to take a right at the Y they went left.
Well, we we shall not speak of the colossal incidents of the other evening...but we can talk about this...
