I knew I wasn't seeing things when I jumped that buck last week then again today.

Still have 19 days left here. I am hoping to be in a tree this weekend. No clue on what my odds will be but I guarantee they are better than not going out at all.

I have been extremely humbled this season, less than 2 hours in the woods to date.

Feel like I need to be posting in the new members section honestly.

From what I saw today they are bedded as close as they can safely to the food source. Looks like you may have a good shot based on that map.

This is a coworkers place, he also has another property he has permission to down the road a ways, going to show me where the stand is. I'm off Saturday, Sunday and Monday this weekend.

I have four tags in my wallet, I will kill 4 fawns if given the opportunity. I'll sit all day every chance I get to hunt, just bought a new freezer a few months back after old one crapped out. Can fit 4 adult deer if needed as well.

There should be well defined trails by now going out to those AG fields. Good luck this weekend Clint.

I'm really glad some of you are still just hard-core out there hunting. Makes me wish I had the time. Plus seeing all of you post is awesome too...keeps me entertained. Good luck out there.

Well we had an unexpected overnight guest that just left. No hunt this morning. That's OK we were up half the night laughing and talking ,so I'm exhausted. Will try and get out tonight, hubbies 65 is tomorrow so no go then. Maybe in the morning.
At least it will be WAY warmer.

Guy responded and confirmed it’s the same deer. Really nice guy. Too nice almost. Told me exactly where the camera is and where he’s been seeing it.

I’ve decided that all of my time/money is going into getting a chance at that deer next year. Food plot and buying back a few acres of bean/corn from the farmer is the top priority since he showed up in late season last 2 years.

That's a buck of a lifetime. How old do you think he is?

Wonder how many other people he’s telling too, good intel but gonna draw some attention. Good luck in your quest, that’s what I would be doing too! Seem like you have the prop the deer likes later in the year.
