Grunt grunt, doe bleat, snort wheeze, snort wheeze, snort wheeze, snort wheeze, snort wheeze, rattle 13 1/2 seconds, acorn cruncher, acorn cruncher. Has to be in that particular order or it won’t work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm up. Trying Holts anti mosquitoes advice. Thank God the wind is blowing a bit but they are still attacking. Got set up and heard something coming. Got ready....
I hurt my knee and let it go for four months, too busy then hunting. The noise...torn muniscus . They had to remove 2/3 of it because waiting caused so much damage. Also had to scrape arthritis caused by waiting....May want to learn from a dummy and get it checked out
I've been on stand in NH 2 hours. I bumped a little one on the way in. Winds are inconsistent and I'm kind of cold. The things I know I forgot (this is my first sit this year) include my glasses and a flashlight.
Everyone I’ve talked to has said the same thing… really hoping nothing is torn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I believe I have a Doe down. From the tree stand. 25yds. Good chest thud sound, big mule kick, ran 30yds to a spot behind three 24-30" poplars, never came out from behind them. Gonna let her lay. Some really nice 8pts coming through here in the evening. Gonna keep hunting. Will update when I get down. Might be a while.
This is so cool. He just walked across chest high water toward another sliver of land to a corn field. I marked the spot in case I see more do that same thing bc the wind is the same the next few days.
I’m set up. Actually it’s my second time up the tree. I had just about gotten set up a while ago when Josh called. He was climbing up a nasty hickory tree and his Summit Viper platform had fallen all the way to the ground. I had to scramble down the tree, race over there on my bike, tie his his pull up rope to the platform and help him work it up the tree. Once he was all situated I hustled back to my tree and climbed up again. I was pretty sweaty by the time I got set up the second time.
I'm set up in south carolina. So far hearing nothing but nails guns. But I have something moving not too far behind me.
Me too but it's not a really big deal. He didn't have me do therapy for that....my torn ACL was a complete tear and yep waited for that too. Though he refused surgery and had me go to PT for 4 months. Said no surgery because I needed knee replacements. He said I was too young for them guess they only last so long
Fawn got within 30….bow was in my hand….lol no white spots fair game….very small target though. If it came to 25 it was gonna get smoked
