Forgot to show you all this in Nov. My buddy in VA killed this buck on public. He is a consistent killer and hell of a hunter. A rare big mature 6 pt
Any particular reason why you attach your climber higher than ground level. Am I wrong in leaving mine at the ground level.
Thanks you all for all the congrats for my son I'm one happy parent. Also proud to say that both of my children are productive adults.
You’re not wrong that I know of. I just like the idea of putting it as high as I can get it so that what scent I leave on it is up about 7 feet. That way any scent I leave on it isn’t right at a deer’s nose level. Sometimes on certain public land spots I’ll put it as low as I can so it’s less visible to other hunters, but mostly I put it up high.
Any of you guys wanting a new single pin from hha, a guy on Facebook posted a code for 50% off. Didn't believe it until I tried it. Code is hhaindustry20 Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Cooped up in the house and I remembered a "failed" hunt from many years ago. It was late December and raining. I hadn't hunted in a couple weeks and when I finally had the time, it was raining hard. I decided to go anyways, and stalk hunt the side of a river. Wind blowing from the river to me as I crept along the cover. A couple hrs in and Im soaked, but I see two does coming right into me, so I get behind cover and its really pouring now. They get within 10 yds of me and have no idea Im there. I slowly stand up, draw, and shoot....only to shoot right over the doe. LOL. I went home thoroughly frozen, yet satisfied. Gotta love this stuff.
I will know a lot more Sunday. Walking in downwind and checking the snow for tracks. Then see if my old rear end can move in and kill him as he exits his bed. Like 1 in 1000 chance. lol
