I'm a solo hunter. Did like the camp experience though. Son hunts with a variety of guys and I really like seeing that. He also takes is son with him. I think River will end up being a good little sportsman once he gets of age. Another 5 yrs here in NYS.

I’m set up. Got here an hour before first light.

It was a heck of a 1 1/2 mile ride in on the bike. The road under the leaves is muddy and crazy slick and in one place beavers had dammed a low area so I had to ride across the beaver dam. Fun times.

Let’s see if the deer move like they did last time I was here.

And you told me at camp you wouldn't ever have a reason to come to Little Rock. Then, here you are within two miles of where I work and you didn't stop by to say hi. :bash::lol:

I drew on a lead doe at 25 yards about 45 minutes ago. I needed her to walk about 3 more feet but the wind swirled and she got a whiff of ozone or something.

She bounded out about 80 yards and they all just fed away.

If I hadn’t been running the Ozonics I’m pretty sure she would have blown the woods up.

I just got settled in to my hay bale blind on the edge of a narrow foodplot. Hopefully a nice big doe comes out to eat on it.

Walked at least 5 miles today scouting. Such a unique place. A few hrs in I jumped a massive 8pter from his bed. I had found 2 other beds and just followed the tracks out. 20221215_130806.jpg 20221215_124737.jpg 20221215_120755.jpg 20221215_103042.jpg 20221215_095740.jpg Biggest body deer I've ever seen....20inch spread

Last day of VT Archery season or any other deer season. Out for the last 1.5hrs. One more chance at the big 8. Sitting over clover, on the way to turnip. Deer have been in here. Just about when. Good luck. 20221215_152320.jpg

Shot a deer yesterday. Tracked over to the next property I have permission on but it continued to cross onto another property I do not have access to nor does the owner live in the state so unfortunately I backed out and called it a loss. First time I had lost a deer due to property boundaries. Guess it was bound to happen eventually. 20221214_172719.jpeg

I’m up for the afternoon sit. I moved 70 yards SW and suddenly this spot looks great. Where I was it was super thick. This looks better.

    I love these creek junctions.
