Anyone been having issues with Nockturnal nocks? This the is the 4th one I had blow apart this year after a pass though , it’s the green/red strobe ones. They sent me 6 new ones, but I might move on if it keeps happening. Never had any issues with the solid color ones in years past.

Haven't used those, just the original solids. At least they sent you new ones. Hell if they keep breaking and they keep sending new ones...

I haven’t had that issues with the strobes but they seem to be more fragile and have had them break where they connect to string. They also seem to give me more issues turning on when I nock an arrow. I went back to solid myself

So when I killed the doe in Missouri while hunting @LittleChief’s camp, the broadhead tip broke off after the arrow passed through and hit a rock. After I got home, I sent the broadhead in for warranty replacement under Magnus’s warranty policy. Today, a brand new broadhead arrived. In the first picture, the broadhead on the right is the damaged one, next to an undamaged head. The second picture is the new that arrived today. Pretty impressed with the customer service.

Today was a girls, daughter, x mas shopping day off. I had a great time. Hubby says to me when I get home, there were 3 huge deer down at Rivers blind when I drove home...
LOL...figures it was a beautiful hunting day. Deer out in wide open all over Big Flats and Horse Heads when we were driving at 11 a.m. today. Most deer I've seen all season.
I'll be out in the morning rain or shine

This again ^:throw:. Cant complain i had a great season but im ready to get back out in the woods. I was debating buying MO tag with Christmas coming up the wife is pinching pennies. Im still waiting on arrows i ordered too. Went with the Victory TKO’s. Got my nokturnals in the mail yesterday. Need to run up to bowshop and grab some fletchings. Ill be experimenting with new arrows, as soon as i figure that out i will be heading out for another doe in illinois or over to Missouri. We have a nice split g2 buck on property i can hunt over there. Got a video of him snort wheezing ill post.

I’m sitting in my recliner with my feet propped up.

Even though I stopped hunting after Friday morning I just got home from Arkansas yesterday morning and we got the buck I killed last Sunday processed yesterday.

I’ll get my gear washed/prepped today and then if there is a break in the rain that’s forecast to fall the next week or so I may get a sit or two in here at home.

I’m planning on either heading back to Arkansas or going to Kentucky Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Kentucky has a 9 day muzzleloader season that starts on the 10th, but I really want to try to get another deer or two on Arkansas public land.
