4 hours and saw Nuttin…. We will see what this afternoon has for us Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Great job dmax! You have definitely putting in some hours! Congrats on the buck and burning your tag on a injured buck. I would have done the same thing. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Sitting the green field again this evening with favorable wind 5 to 6mph out of SW. Good luck to all that's out tonight.
Thanks for all the congratulations. I sure put in the time for that buck. I'm so glad Clint turned me on to this forum years ago when we were teammates. I just love the comradery. Keep plugging away, it seems as though the second rut was starting to this weekend.
I'm out. Had a 6 point at 20 off the ground and he finally figured me out right at dark. Was a fun encounter but at this point in the season I'm holding out for more or none. What's the saying? Go big or stay home I think it is! I ain't staying home! Still got 4 weeks....
Amen brother! It’s a shame we both live in PA and have to go to Ohio to have a full season. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
This thread is where it is every year for me. Ever since a member Vabowbender suggested it as a spin off from a thread on archery talk back in 2012. Prior to that we just had "teaser threads" which were both fun and annoying Since then it has taken off like a rocket ship and has peaked in 2018 but stayed somewhat consitent since 2017. 2013: 4'443 posts 2014: 5,450 posts(2 threads) 2015: 7,611 posts 2016: 8,437 posts(2 threads) 2017: 11,776 posts 2018: 14,629 posts 2019: 13,387 posts 2020: 14,250 posts 2021: 14,041 posts 2022: 11,677 posts and counting. In total, minus the 2012 thread we have 105,711 posts which would have the thread length at 5,286 pages if all years were merged. By far the most popular thread on the site. Sorry @fletch920 no offense intended at 1,636 pages which started off as a jab thread
Truthfully, these threads and @virginiashadow's scouting threads could all be merged and just rename it Live From the Field and keep it pinned at the top for year round discussion/updating.
