Check this guy out. This is literally 50yds from my backdoor at home in a subdivision haha. He will be a mega if he lives another year. Working on getting some permission on surrounding property for next year
I think those urban deer get overlooked in general, so hopefully he makes it and you can get him next year. He should be a real dandy.
Looks like a 4 or 5 year old. Very nice looking buck. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
BTW after the nearby turkey gang, flew the roost, they head away, but meet another flock/ rival gang...even what I estimate was 1/4 mile away those things were loud. I could hear at least 11 fly down, but may have been more of they glided down...I may need to plant this back acre...
Here too, accompanied by 40 mph gusts and 15-18 mph winds. Good day to Christmas clean and decorate. Got most walls washed, knick knacks , shelves cleaned and all ceiling lights strung yesterday. Today is rug cleaning and putting up the tree. The whole house smells like pinesol..lol Regular season ends on the 11th. Then late muzzle bow opens again for a week after that there is a few days between Christmas day and new years. I will be hitting camp at least one more time to try and fill that doe tag. Winds need to subside though because 40yrs of experience tells me they will be all down low and in the thick buckthorn to stay out of the worst of it. Camp like our place had a bad acorn year and most apples are now gone. To my surprise there was one lone Apple near the cabin that was packed with 3in.diameter bright red apples my last trip. Note to self look for a near by sapling this spring.
Man it’s pouring out here now going to wait this out the head in absolute ghost town here Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm out. At 9am the neighbor decides to rotary cut his goat pasture. Sounded like he was tearing the world down 300 yards away. Wind switched and started blowing my scent into the green field. Exit stage left. No deer seen..
Back on stand in a spot that I haven’t hunted in all year. Need a Northwest wind to hunt it and we finally got one. Temperatures are supposed to steadily drop all day. Good luck if you’re out. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I'm out. Late but out. Been wanting to put gravel down in the woodshed. So, 5600 pounds are down and compacted. Back is not happy with me. All done by hand.
