    Very much agreed. I have mad respect for those guys that go out and kill year after year on public land that they have scouted. Those guys are the true woodsman.

    Turkeys apparently roosted on the neighboring parcel...I think that was the 9th bird I heard fly down...good Lord they're noisy this morning. Squirrels are up.rain holding off...so far. Got the stand reset...just one thing missing...

    Shot at a doe, kind of a weird angle behind me. Only two of the 3 does left the grass, so either she went a different direction with a clean miss or dropped her in her tracks. We'll see. Not sure on this one. Won't be checking for a few hours.

    I can’t believe how many turkeys I’ve seen this morning. They were flying down off the roost in the field I’m setting on. I was able to count 55 in the field at one time. Man there noisy.

    :clap: Well said BnB well said. I am very envious of your setup while being totally thankful and blessed for what i have. I have 200 acres of pretty good private 5 min from my house and a 90 acre family farm 2 hrs south that is surrounded by 15,000 acre chunk of national forest. Some only hunt public and have to drive hours to get to it. But that just shows the drive and passion some of these members have. Its humbling when you think about it. Congrats again.
