Cool fact I found out from a guy putting in my wood floors today. Not too far from where I was hunting the "Missouri Monarch" buck was found dead in a fence. World record non typical I believe. Insane and they aged it at only 4.5 to 5.5 years old!
I think it's cool because it was nature at it's best, not chemical and nutrient engineers developing the next great hormone feed and breeding through sperm capture. Today's high fenced deer criteria once walked the earth naturally without nutrient rich mutation methods. No food plots, no selective killing or culling. Straight up a deer became what it's own genetics allowed it to be. I appreciate that deer more than one that may top it.
