Headed out about 3 with my sister. Taking her to the farm for an opportunity at her first kill of any kind. She is nervous about shooting an animal. We will be comfortable in the blind and it provides good and stable shots. Happy Thanksgiving.

Snuff - brother find deer shot with rifle?

Ended up working today because of rain. Didn't feel like getting wet. The rain has cleared for most part. Probably take off a couple hours early today and try and hunt the last couple hours.

Let's see if that moon phase deer movement calendar is worth anything. Great visibility here. Have killed a bunch of deer from this stand. Pics only showing smaller daylight walkers, though the big boys can take the 25yd trail to my right or 40yd trail to my left and avoid the camera. Wind is eh, but I washed all the hunting clothes and myself in scent away. Think I may move this stand 30yds tomorrow. 20221125_124134.jpg 20221125_124124.jpg

2 Momma Doe with 2Doe Fawns, a BB Fawn and a broken 4pt chasing just came through at 10yds. Wheres your daddy? Scent control must be good. They were all downwind.

I'm up with ya! Hopefully that moon stuff is good. Ha! I knocked some lanes out real quick in this spot.

Lots of scrapes around. Some new, some old. There's one basically under me and wasn't there yesterday. The biggest one is untouched. Neighbors are running saws and weed eaters over by the east bedding. Thanks fellas, the west side is where I am. Pics won't load here. Smh

Turtle mountain is where we hunted Labor Day. Will check it out but there was very little fields outside of alfalfa.

Going to be single digit highs… should be interesting.

No deer movement since the 6 at 1250 or so. Biding my time. Beautiful day to be in a tree!

Just got on stand in Ohio on our upper farm. 40’ up in a Sycamore because of the slope. 51 degrees and a 10 mph NW wind in my face. Only the second time in this stand this season.

Walked back up to the house all of 150 yards. Didn't see anything at all. I forgot my neck gaiter/face cover. Gonna head back in about 30 mins. Need coffee too. I have my reasons dangit!

I just bought the solitude today, hear it’s good stuff. For the price couldn’t go wrong!

Back at it for the last 2 hrs. 15 mins in Rivers blind. Winds are better and no rain. They hammered these plot to dirt. I know there is still a little clover in there though walked past 2 new rubs on the way down and fresh droppings
    Spoke too soon sleeting.

My sister has never shot an animal. She's practicing by aiming at squirrels.

Family fun this Thanksgiving weekend! 20221125_153631.jpg
