Im really missing our old tradition. We used to do a big family rabbit hunt every year on Thanksgiving. Was the first time i ever hunted maybe back in 1988 or 89. Still remember shooting my first rabbit with that .410. The family friend that owned all the property sold that ground and bought a duck club so it turned into a duck hunt. Few years ago the family friend died and it all kind of fell apart.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Im headed to get into a tree for a while this morning, good luck to any doing the same.
Good luck everyone. Enjoy the time hunting and be safe out there. I'm joining the fray around 230! Family is gathering up at 7 tonight instead of 2, so lucky me!
Nothing to report here. Duck hunters have been banging since the sun came up. So sounds like a good day on the water. But for deer movement here, absolutely zero so far. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

Every Thanksgiving I would spend the morning hours hunting Bunnies and Pheasant when I was young before the family T-day dinner ... even when grown, it was a tradition to hunt the AM, work up an appetite then pig out ... its been years now since I did that... now its rush rush rush and no time to do squat, plus now I almost work on T-day just to get holiday pay, eat early, then off I go ... ... smh .....
Happy Thanksgiving folks! We got up at 4:00 and hit the road for Tennessee at 5:00. We’re here and I finally got to meet Penelope. Good Lord she’s cute!
Happy thanksgiving LC! That’s been your best photo here on LFTS yet! Wishing you Peace and Happiness with the family.
Don't give him any ideas for a suburban hunt. "Don't mind me I'm just a local homeowner working on his lawn in shorts and a tshirt...just whistling and singing with my bow in my hand".
