    I waited until now to call my wife. I wanted to make sure she slept in a bit. She’s getting bundled up and she will head over here. I’ve got to make sure I missed or find the doe if I didn’t miss.

    I refletched a couple arrows with feathers yesterday and sharpened up some broadheads.

    I actually love this gun, but I hate that redundant safety. I’ve always thought this could happen but it’s the first time it was a problem.

    It doesn’t explain a clean miss at 75 yards though, which we just verified. After we looked I flipped the quick disconnect scope mounts, handed the scope to my wife to take back to the house and I climbed back up my tree.

    I’ll sit until 11:00 or 11:30. If something shows up I’ll use the ghost ring sights.

    Son and grandson going out for mid morning hunt I'm hoping to get some good pics. It would be great if they were to get one of the good bucks.

    Wife asked me not to go hunt today, family first. I’m sneaking out to shoot a few guns to make sure they’re dialed in. Hoping to get out with the bow a couple times before thanksgiving.

    Back at it Wed. Rest of the season will be a lot of exploring and enjoying time in the woods. Hope to get lucky on a real hammer buck.

    Walked over to that thick stuff just to see if I could find any sign, I didn’t see anything. I did have one guy walk about 10yds from me until he noticed me then went back the way he came. I was a quiet morning I don’t think I heard a shot. Going to try to rush out after dropping my daughter off at work. Hope to be somewhere by 315. Good luck Bucksnbears.
