Where did you move to in Florida? As this is my first year of being full-time retired, I'm going to spend part of the winter there beginning in January. I will be in Port Richey, which is in the Tampa Bay area. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Coffee down and headed out shortly. 13 degrees this. I’m definitely going to my blind because the still hasn’t let up. Good luck this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

And I was complaining about walking through a foot of snow yesterday, lol. Can’t even imagine that much in one storm. We get lake effect here in SW Michigan but nothing like that. 12-24” is usually the most from a single major storm
Hunted (gun) yesterday morning with my oldest son during snow storm. About 10 am had a doe working her way in front of us about 60 yds out. She needed to take a few more steps in order for my son to have a shot. Snow started coming down harder and blowing to where we could no longer see. Lasted about 5 mins. After it cleared up she was gone. So close. My wife text me a couple pics of a buck pushing a doe around at home in our driveway. Wish I could hunt my own property but too many houses around. Went out yesterday evening with both of my bows. Saw 3 doe but no shot opportunity. Going out with my oldest daughter this afternoon.
I am pretty sure I’m on idiot for coming out with 54 inches of snow on the ground the deer aren’t gonna move and many people didn’t even go out today to push them. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I moved down here from Illinois last year for work. I am about 90 minutes south of you in Palm Beach County. Like you I am trying to figure out the hunting situation down here. I applied for a permit on several WMA’s but didn’t draw so I have not hunted this year. It has been tough sitting the sidelines. Been following the LFTS thread all year to help. Hunting in the heat will take some getting used to.
It's 16 degrees, good sw breeze, and a foot of snow. Tried to get on a nice doe with gun, but kept stopping in life saving places. Hoping a doe wanders around this standing corn. Flinger and dinged her - freaking awesome shot. Congratulations. Shawn - if no deer...gotta get some hogs! Tony - I got nothin'. That'd crazy. Seems unlikely deer would be moving in that. Good luck.
Lol I had to flash my light at 5 guys coming in. 3 on my West side 2 on the north. Guys on north literally ran away hahaha The three are in blinds and stands along line .one right acoss from me. It is brutal out here. Very few shot heard.
Im on the ground. 17 degrees with 17 mile winds. Bumped 2 does coming in. I need more money for better clothes. Good luck all. Prolly my last 2 days till after shotgun.
