@picman whats the word? I hope you feel better @Shawn Clark and it’s an easy fix. I was all messed up earlier in the year I was oughhousing with my nephews and I couldn’t even turn my head, you don’t appreciate mobility until you don’t have it!
Yes.yes it was...lol Though having lost the weight I still have plenty of room..actually baggy. That said, 1200 gr. Boots stopped working and I'm about to risk losing toes. The doe beat me again. Packing it in...
Helper was a sleepy head this morning. Just got out. Going to circle the area she was last in. If I find no sign, I will head into that hell hole
I'm out. Everything sucks in the cold. My fingers were completely numb from tearing down and rehanging my stand. Everything sticks, resists and just sucks when it's cold. I'm just salty from not seeing that shooter and wanted to channel Clint for a minute.
Back home and about to have first coffee. I'm trying to get the feeling back in several toes. The walk out I took.the laneway where I saw the morning deer. Fawn tracks and one bigger one.. dang I thought could have had a doe. I'm looking down following the track toward the garden. I round the spruce and look up to see the bigger spike feeding on the grape vines. He looked up and I can tell you he had zero issues clearing the compost bin and the 6' garden fence to run under my tree nest stand. Those Irish setter woman's hunters just suck! Stiff, hard soles a narrow fit for a hunter, noisiest boots I've ever worn and unless I have boot rubbers on the thinsulate is worthless...rant done.
Well guys, I'm Live From The Hospital. Ordering blood work and Cat Scan. Gonna give it some time. Hopefully we'll find out soon!
Pic - sweetness! Happy to hear. Shawn - praying for you brother. Zero deer. Some turkey, including a long bearded hen. Enjoy the day.
Nothing for me either. The venison hotdog and beans, burrito and papaya salad won out and cut my sit short. That’s it for me for the the day I have some calling hours to go to tonight then beer camp at the neighbors for a couple hours that’s a tradition the night before gun season and everyone puts up $20 for biggest buck, smallest deer and coyote.
Im down here at the family farm for gun season. Ive been doing nothing but tracking and gutting deer for others haha. At least im staying moving.
