I’m back at the house. I didn’t see anything but squirrels. Guns were blasting all around. My neighbor texted me and said they were really moving. Well, they weren’t moving where I was sitting. It’s okay. I’d rather kill one on a morning sit anyway.
Well, zero deer seen today, with the exception of nearly hitting one with the car. I just really don't know what's going on here. This has always been such a productive farm. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Have patience Jim. You aren't too far from me. I've seen buck activity but not like normal for this time. I think we're about to see it bust loose!!!!!
Dude i second this for sure! My best hunts have been mid-late October then mid November to mid December. That first week or 2 in December ive seen some of the best action ever.
Sorry man I was still in the tree, crying . back at the truck now. There was a nice eight point chasing three does all over a field,, he wouldn’t respond to calls, and chased them off in the opposite direction. All the sudden I look over there, and there is a huge bodied 10 pointer, a giant, standing there looking for these deer. I let out the loudest snort weeze I could muster, he looked over, but just went running off in their direction. Crap! 10 minutes later, out of nowhere, he comes flying across the field, running to my woods, looking for the snort wheeze. He comes into the woods, standing about 35 yards quartering away. I thought, no, he’s gonna come my way for a 20 yard chip shot. He turns around, goes flying back across the field. I’m telling you, he was out of his mind! I could have made that shot, I should’ve taken the shot, I know better than that. SOB Then another big bastard popped up on my downwind side, actually snort weezed back at me. But that didn’t work out either
This is hilarious. I wonder if @virginiashadow made a last minute update to his resume skills and qulifications. “Relocated halfway across the country, improvised and implemented new strategies to locate and kill mature buck in unknown territory”
