HuntinKB51 and I are in the blind overlooking a food plot. Rain/snow mix. Doe decoy out. Come check her out big boys! Let's go PM shift!
Well I got the go ahead from the wife to try to wake up and get out a day or two this week before work and before the season ends here Friday… now I just have to get out of bed after being up with a newborn lol
I have been there, killed my first deer in 1975 and tied her to the hood of my 1974 AMC javelin. Blood everywhere. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Not for archery we get a gun buck tag.. I do not usually hunt camp in gun. Besides thinking about how son wants that 10 was a reason I decided to shoot the 5 and leave. Let things settle down before Saturday gun opener. Though that 10 didn't show until just before the 5 and in rifle area he'd been toast coming off that other property. We have a snow/lfreezing rain storm on us here at the moment. Not sure about camp. It was calm there when I left but winds howling here and cold!!!. Pretty sure I won't be able to move tomorrow . I moved up that hill one squat and pull at a time. 5 and rest, 5,and rest for hours. He's hanging in this cold weather. Hubby may have to raise him I just can't had a hard enough time getting him up there in the first place. Big difference from 2020. Broken rack and this year's drag. Then again I wasn't closing in on 65 then. LOL
Ha!! Just looked at that pic...I hung that broken racked buck on the kennel fencing and completely forgot about it. There it is in the back ground, still hanging off that fence...I'm bad...lol
I’m set up on my property across the road. I’m not going to be too choosy on bucks with my gun tag. I won’t shoot a doe yet and I’d like to have at least a 2 1:2 year old buck just to get more meat out of one kill. I have a few on camera that meet that requirement.
Out of my last sit for my Kansas trip. Back in my old reliable stand. I was mucking around my whole area yesterday with the tracking dog so I am curious to see how that impacts things.
Awesome!! Congrats !! He didn’t get lucky twice that’s for sure Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
