    I’m gonna a killer looking spot. Yesterday I saw several deer past through this little finger over here, so I grab my climber and made a move.
    Big, thick woods behind me.
    A little too windy for my liking but hopefully some things moving here eventually
    I had to go about 30 feet up to have some cover, and I can’t even sit down because I feel like the deer could come from any direction.

    Great question. I shot him twice. The first shot 40 yards broadside. Two does take off and he runs 30 yards and stops. My buddy's a guide out west. He likes when clients take another shot if possible. So, I put another round in him. He runs 20 yards and goes down. There's hardly any blood. I look to where he ran before the 1st and 2nd shot - zero blood. Thought I must have hit a branch. Nope. The first shot hit high heart. The second one was double lung. Impressed he went that far...but SADLY, no good blood pics. He'll be almost all snack sticks.
