Took the kids out for gun opener. Got a couple more inches of snow while we were out but no shots fired. Gets got pretty cold around 9. Bump what looked like a spike on the way out. Will be back at it this afternoon

    fc784064-8990-415e-a4c3-1791b8e406b7.jpg I took a 1 hour tour this morning.
    I'll bet I seen 25 bucks.
    Insane chasing.
    Was SO fun.
And yeah, there was a buck at that rub when I drove by.
    Crazy.
And this new buck walked 10 yards from where I sat yesterday morning.

Congrats noodles and OND! You both earned em

I slept this morning, 12 hours. 30 degrees and scattered rain didn’t sound like fun, I was exhausted and couldn’t do it.
Getting ready now to head out for the afternoon. Good luck to those out there today!

I'm a simple man. Need some gas money and maybe a used 2010ish black Mustang that has been well kept. Then I know I've made it. Lol

Thanks everyone. I got him in the trunk but unlike the broken racked buck , he didn't fit. Had to have his back feet sticking out and the trunk tied down. Back home, sitting in drive because...I'm too tired to move, no really. I have to go hang him. At least the ladder is up already
So got real lucky. Shot went in mid body back of ribs. Exited the front shoulder bone. One lung, and arteries. Never found bolt it zipped through him like butter at 35 Yrds and dissapeared. Also. Left all inards in tacked. He was full on all accounts so don't know how that happened. ..luck.

20221115_120551(0).jpg 20221115_120914.jpg The doe finally came out of the corner of woods and walked right under my tree stand. He reluctantly followed her, but stayed near cover....BUT NOT IN COVER ENOUGH! The one pic is of a fresh wound. Appears someone missed this dude by inches recently.
