Zero wind, 19 degrees, super heavy frost over…I can hear the crunch, crunch, of a buck walking, I can see his breath in the cold… but no, not my day in the woods. why couldn’t it have been like this last week? Ughh
Live From The Ground Blind ...w '06 and 180gr HPs. Gonna have to be 120+ to get the hammer dropped. Sky is starting to lighten up, surprised I haven't heard a shot yet. Amish must be busy working, lol. Good luck all you real (bow) hunters.
I'd like to brother but I haven't seen anything big this trip. Very unusual for this farm. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
I just heard a turkey gobbling. They walked past me last evening right about sunset. I heard them fly up to roost, so I guess they haven't come down yet. C'mon boys, let's make something get dead today!! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

@oldnotdead heck yeah! Steady number of rifle shots this AM, especially for a mid-week Opening Day. They are up and OTM. Guy on neighboring private shot, I could hear him talking after, he's got to be 300+ yards away. Maybe 500. Crazy how far sounds carry on a clear cold windless day.
@Tony didn't take any last night. Was full dark when I got him out and onto the Buck Pole. I'll make sure I get some today- w bow.
